Frequently asked questions

The questions people ask most before they add the bot, what it does with their data, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Getting started

How do I add Panindigan to my server?

Sign in with Discord, choose a server you administer, and follow the install link. Panindigan requests only the permissions its commands actually use, and you can review every one before approving. After installation the bot appears in your dashboard automatically.

Do I have to create my own bot or paste a token?

No. Panindigan is one official bot. You never create a second bot instance, never submit a bot token, and never expose credentials in the browser.

What is the command prefix?

The default is p!. Each server can change it from the Administration area of the dashboard. If you are ever unsure of the prefix, mention the bot — it always replies with the current prefix and a support panel.

Why can't I run commands yet?

Panindigan requires every user to accept the current Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before any command executes. This is checked on the server for every command, not just in the dashboard. Declining keeps commands locked -- it does not delete your account, and you can accept later.

Can a server administrator accept on my behalf?

No. Consent is recorded against the account that made the decision. No administrator, guild owner, or client-side change can unlock another person's commands.

Plans and limits

Is every command on the free plan?

Yes. All 421 commands are available on Starter. Paid plans add operational capabilities such as advanced music features, extended statistics, and custom command deployment. See pricing for the current comparison.

Are the plans subscriptions?

No. Every paid plan is a one-time payment for lifetime access. There is no recurring charge.

Custom commands

What language are custom commands written in?

Lua, in a sandboxed runtime. Your code calls approved Panindigan APIs only. It cannot reach Discord internals, your bot token, database credentials, the filesystem, or the network except through the controlled HTTP API.

Do the 421 built-in commands run my Lua?

No. Every built-in command is Panindigan-owned TypeScript. Lua executes only the custom commands and automations that you write.

Troubleshooting

The bot cannot post in one channel.

Panindigan checks its real Discord permissions before queueing a message, so a channel it cannot post in shows as unhealthy rather than failing silently. Fix the channel permissions and the health check will report it.

Is the platform down?

Check the status page. It reads live health data from the platform backend and shows how fresh each reading is.
